Lawoe School of Technology to create this five and a half month internship for people with no previous experience of teaching English abroad. After receiving comprehensive training, you’ll jet off to Thailand in April 2012 for five and a half incredible months of teaching and exploring, with 24/7 support.

Before You Set Off to Thailand:
If you're not already qualified, i-to-i will provide you with extensive TESOL certification; to make sure you’re ready for your first day in the classroom. We'll give you:
- 140 hours of comprehensive TESOL training, including a hands-on 20 Hour Classroom TESOL Course in Bangkok
- Expert tutor advice and tips from the i-to-i team
- Instructions on the next steps to complete your application for the internship program
Once you’ve submitted your application form and documentation to the program coordinator, Masako Fujii, she’ll work with you directly to organize your internship placement, arrange your visa and make sure you have all the information you need to arrive in Thailand full of confidence and ready to teach!
When You Arrive in Thailand:
Lawoe’s program coordinator, Masako Fujii, who works with schools across Thailand, will have already arranged a reputable internship placement for you. So, when you land in Bangkok it’ll just be a case of settling into the Thai life and seeing some of the sights.
- A reputable teaching internship set up for you You’ll be placed with at least one other intern at your school, where you’ll get over 300 hours of practical teaching experience
- Monthly spending allowance You’ll receive 10,000 Thai Baht every month as a living allowance (that’s about $331 USD)
- Monthly teaching bonus You’ll get a bonus of 2500THB after every full month teaching
- Free accommodation Close to the school with your own private bedroom
- 24/7 in-country support You’ll get all the support you need from the minute your plane touches down, including airport pickup, transfers and 24/7 support.

What You Need to Do the Internship:
- 140 hours of TESOL training (If you're already TEFL or TESOL certified call the i-to-i team to discuss your options!)
- To be able to arrive in Thailand on April 30th 2011 and stay for 5.5 months
- To be a native English speaker
- To have a full University degree and be aged 21 to 45
- To hold a passport from USA, CAN, UK, AU, IE, or NZ
- A sense of adventure and an open mind!
What you don’t need
- To be able to speak Thai – As an English language teacher, the best thing you can do is create a totally English-speaking atmosphere for your students
- Any previous teaching experience - This program welcomes total TESOL beginners!
