Dottie’s Story

“This is something I have always considered doing but being a mother and a wife seemed to put myself on the back burner or because I made them a priority. Then my life came apart as my marriage fell apart and I thought a horse kicked me.”

“I am living in Texas which is not my real home state and I have my two children with me until next fall when they go off to college and grad school. I need to find "me" again and I don't want to find it in Texas.”

“My plan is to rent my home and get a contract for a year or more in Italy or Spain. I have travelled extensively in Europe and Asia many years ago before I married at 33 and I am anxious to go "around corners" and have an adventure. I am scared and excited at the same time, but I have confidence in i-to-i and feel secure that no harm will come to me. I know I have a lot to give and still a lot to learn and this may very well be the next chapter in my life. Like they say, "Everyone has a book in them"!”
